Candace Parker named the Statewide Administrator of the Year by the Missouri Health Care Association.

Fort Smith, Ark. - Candace Parker, Executive Director of Golden LivingCenter - Pin Oaks in Mexico, Missouri, was recently named the Statewide Administrator of the Year by the Missouri Health Care Association. Candace first won the Administrator of the Year Award for her district, and later went on to receive the highly coveted Statewide Administrator award.

Candace has been with Pin Oaks for 31 years. She started on the night shift as a Licensed Practical Nurse, was promoted to Floor Supervisor, and eventually became the Assistant Director of Nursing. Candace was then promoted to her current position of Executive Director. Those who work alongside Candace call her a "legend." "Candace leads by example and treats her patients like family. She believes that everyone wants to feel at home, and she makes every effort to give her patients that feeling at Pin Oaks," says Golden LivingCenters Division 1 President, Julianne Williams. Candace is also known for treating her employees with dignity and respect.
